A Little About Me
Welcome Parents and Families! My name is Ioanna Stoddard and I am your child's kindergarten teacher at Plato Academy Trinity! I graduated from St. Petersburg College with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education K-6 in 2006, and I also have an ESOL certification. This means I am certified to teach students whose first language is not English. I am a clinical educator, too, and I am able to take final interns to teach and assist in my classroom. This is my 13th year teaching; I have taught for 10 years in Pasco County and this is my third year at Plato Academy. I have worked at Marlowe Elementary, Chasco Elementary, and Calusa Elementary in Pasco County. I was Teacher of the Year in 2012 for my hard work, classroom management, creativity, and dedication. My heart and soul are in primary because I love to teach the younger grades like kindergarten, first grade, and second grade! I have taught fourth grade, too. I have began my Master's Degree in Educational Leadership in August of 2017 and just finished my last class! I will be completing the Principalship this summer.
I have an amazing daughter who is in 2nd grade this year at Plato Academy Trinity. My wonderful and supportive husband works for the Pasco County School District as a Plant Manager. I am so thankful for my loving family and friends! I look forward to working with each and every one of you this year! Please feel free to contact me with any comments, questions, or concerns.
